Photos with Santa

All the pictues with Santa that were taken at the children's Christmas Party this Sunday have now been printed and are available for pick-up at the hall. Please come to the first window on the second floor to pick-up your picture.

We apologize for the technical difficulty with the printer at the party.

Children’s Christmas Party

Thank you to all the families and members that came out to the Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday, I hope you all had a wonderful time. . It looked like the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves making decorations, colouring, and making pinwheels with Dan Annett. They absolutely loved the Twisted Shapes balloon artists who made all sorts of creatures and shapes for them – octopus’, guns, swords and flowers to name a few! And let’s not forget the visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus which was a HUGE hit with the kids! Thank you to Dave Turner and Millie Sager for arranging their appearance.

I would especially like to thank Susan Markine for both her time and her generosity to the kid’s Christmas party this year, she has gone above and beyond to make this family event a success. And last, but certainly not least, the staff certainly deserve a heartfelt thank you for all of their behind the scenes work beforehand, as well as for their participation at this event. A lot of time and effort went into the party this year outside of their working hours and I feel as though the generous donation of their time should be recogized.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Edmonton Christmas Party

As I posted the other day the Edmonton Christmas Party is sold out. Unfortunately there are still some members calling to purchase tickets including some that are eligible for years of service pins.

As such the office has started a waiting list for these members. So if there are any members who have tickets and are unable to attend please contact the union office, so that we can give these members an opportunity to attend.

Thank you all and Merry Christmas

Adult Christmas Party – EDMONTON

Good afternoon, the Edmonton Christmas Party is now SOLD OUT. Thank you to everyone who bought their tickets prior to the deadline and we look forward to seeing you there.
