By now all members should have received the notice from the Asbestos Workers Insurance Benefit Trust Fund of Alberta (Health and Welfare) regarding the 2016 changes to the health and welfare plan.

In regards to the $500 Health Spending Account members are required to have an up to date Pulmonary Function Test completed before August 31, 2016. If the Pulmonary Function Test is completed after that date the member will receive $250 Health Spending Account. To help facilitate members getting this test before the August 31, 2016 deadline the WOW center has opened the first two weeks of August exclusively for Local 110 members.

The WOW center has two locations at Synergy Respiratory Care #201, 501 Bethal Drive Sherwood Park Alberta and the other at #604, 8600 Franklin Ave Fort McMurray Alberta.
