Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

WCB is being reviewed for the first time in 15 years. The WCB Review Panel has now released a progress report, and we are encouraged by the Panel’s commitment to improve the WCB process for Workers across Alberta. The WCB Review Panel will not be looking at specific claims as part of its mandate – however – the experience of workers in the WCB system is being requested, and input on problems with the WCB and suggestions for solutions to improve the WCB are being reviewed and considered by the WCB Review Panel. 

 

"We are still welcoming input and ideas from Albertans, and will continue to receive submissions until January 3, 2017. If you are interested in how the workers’ compensation system will work in the future, I encourage you to make a submission to us.”
