We have noticed a slight error in the letter that was mailed out to all the Journeyman Members regarding the upcoming Special Called Bylaws meeting. The Special Called Meeting will be held Saturday June 2, 2018 NOT Saturday June 9, 2018.

We apologize in advance for the confusion.

 RE: Special Called Meeting for the revision of Local 110 Bylaws

 Dear Sister/Brother:

Please be advised that there will be a Special Called meeting on Saturday June 2, 2018 at the Edmonton and Calgary Union Halls from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. At this meeting will be asked to vote on changes, additions and/or removal of the Bylaws found in “Working Rules and Bylaws for Alberta Local #110 of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers.”

 Members are asked to submit their suggestions for changes, additions and/or removal, in writing, no later than May 5, 2018. Feel free to mail them to the hall or drop them off in person at the above address, or if you prefer they can also be emailed to either:

This is necessary so they can be reviewed prior to the meeting to ensure that they are not in violation of the Constitution and Bylaws as Adopted by the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers, The Alberta Insulators Provincial Collective Agreement or Alberta Labour Law. Please note that submissions may be edited slightly when necessary, but only if clarification is required.
