Good day

The last week or so I have had a number of calls regarding the 5 on 1 off shift being currently worked for maintenance at Suncor turnaround. Today I have just received clarification from the GPMC.

Members that are working the 5 and 1 shift the start day is the Monday working till the Thursday straight time. All hours worked on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or beyond the 10 hours per day will be compensated at overtime rates.

If you have worked this shift and have not received overtime please put in writing to the company that you were not paid the overtime, with the dates of the missed pay, date and sign and request a copy back. If the overtime is not corrected please contact the union hall so that we can take the required steps.
